We have been honoured to be a small part of people's wedding day many times over the years. It is quite humbling to have someone trust you to help make their dreams of their big day come true. A couple of months ago, we received a request from a bride-to-be to help create bow ties for her two Dobermans. She had just found out that her two dogs were going to be allowed to participate in the ceremony. She chose the red silk bow tie that we offer for her male dog, but she also wanted something for her female dog. She contacted me through Etsy to ask about a gold bowtie for her girl. I emailed her back a selection of fabrics and she chose the gold she wanted. I then set about designing a special, more feminine, bowtie for her girl. This is what I came up with:
She was very happy with them and said they would look perfect for her furkids on the special day.
So often, that's the end of the story for us. Unfortunately, we don't get to see photos of the big day or how our designs looked. Thankfully, Samantha sent us some photos from her wedding, so we could see how everything turned out. We're very happy to have played a small part in helping to make her wedding everything she wanted it to be! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
Here's wishing the happy couple years of happiness together! Congratulations!
We have recently introduced a new item to our shop which is causing quite a stir! We have covered a nylon webbing collar with a white oxford shirt collar and topped it off with a set of 3 interchangeable bow ties.
The set includes a traditional black tie, a red silk tie and a cute tartan plaid tie. They have proven to be quite popular.
But now we want to give people a little more choice and flexibility by offering new bowtie options. We will be launching these items shortly, but in the meantime here is a little teaser:
And, for you Dr. Who fans out there, here is a little message from our boy Charlie:
